Hat me.
Bought this new floppy hat for my head from JCPenny online along with my new fabulosity shoes that are in the post after this one. The hat looks a bit silly on my head in these pictures because I clipped up my hair and put the hat over the clip. In hindsight, I have NO IDEA what I was doing.

The meaning of "2ndhand"
I write often about my clothes being "2ndhand." This could mean a lot of different things to people. For me, it means that I get the clothes given to me from somebody. It's pretty much like a hand-me-down. We have a bunch of family friends that look through their closet finding things that they don't wear anymore. For some reason they think of me and ask my sisters and I if we want anything they found. They just end up giving us boxes of things they don't know what to do with it. We pick over it and send the rest over the the thrift store. This is a super cheap way of adding things to my closet.
I guess the lesson here is that somebody's trash can be a treasure to someone else. Don't throw things away just because you got tired of it.

grey cow
Did I call myself a cow? I guess so. I like cows though. They get raised for food and die for a meat-head's meal. hmph. That's not why I like them. I like them because they're dumb and dopey. They always have some sort of stupid blank stare on their face but they're super cute. They probably have soft noses, but what do I know? I just live in the farmiest area and don't know if cows have fuzzy noses.

In a Pickle Pin
This outfit was inspired by the great makers of Heinz (?) Pickles. Perhaps in the early years of pickle (?) making, the company began advertising with the output of fine, plastic, made-in-china pins. They were of the lowest quality for financial reasons and eventually the Heinz company realized to not specify in pickles but later to advertise on their finest quality ketchup.
(I made this story up. The only true part is that the pickle pins do say 'Heinz' on them. The reason which I have no idea, because I always connected Heinz with ketchup...)

Blazin with stripes
I got dressed on this day apparently with an inspiration in the back of my head. I just thought oh this looks good together. As I went through my day I kept thinking, "Man, my outfit reminds me of something I have seen before." It wasn't until I got back to my room and saw this picture hanging on my wall that it was the exact outfit of this guy. I just thought how hilarious that I thought I was super cool for this outfit only to realize I had sub-consciously copied it.
This is the picture that is on my wall.
And this is how I got dressed for the day!
