Dress as top
Been wanting to wear my dress for a while now... so, I decided to show off my stupendous racerback tan-line wearing a belted skirt. One girl thought my outfit was a dress and in reality the black part is a dress but the combination is.. not. Ha! tricked her!! Good day. (don't pay any attention to my hair, because apparently I didn't)

Black Lace dress: Thrifted. Black bow: part of the dress. Pink belt: Mervin's going out of business sale. White skirt: Old Navy. Charles Albert platforms: thrifted.

Donna Karan f/w 2010
This is Donna Karan's Fall 2010 line. I love her look because it is so simple, but really crisp and fresh. I love her mix of textures in some of the looks. In the below picture I love she mixes the widths of ruffle-y layers of the top.
I love the movement of the dress and the mixture of the two textures of black.
This dress is one of my favorite because of the really unique texture.

This look caught my eye because of the mixture of fur and all the textiles. So beautiful.

Jason Schwartzman
Jason Schwartzman is not just a random name that popped in my head to be a title. He is an actor and he's married to a fashion designer. I tried to google some of her designs... and found nothing. But, he is a splendid looking man who looks good in a thick bushy mustache. WHO looks good in a thick bushy mustache?!?! NO ONE but Jason Schwartzman.
He played Louis XVI on "Marie Antoinette," because he has the perfect face. He was first supposed to play Donnie Darko, but it didn't fit in his schedule so Jake Gyllenhaal was replacement...which he did a fine job (says my father). He is also in the new movie with Michael Cera called "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" where he plays one of the evil ex boyfriends, which I will see someday because of Mr. Cera and Mr. Schwartzman's lovely face... :D

Halter: Thrifted. Green Softball belt: Thrifted. Black Skirt: Target. Pumps: Thrifted.

Water and Oil

People are saying that this editorial in Italian Vogue is controversial. They say that it makes such an ugly thing beautiful. I think it portrays a different message. The beautiful models and clothes are in this grimy place and it shows how ugly and destructive the BP spill is. It shows the beauty dying and looks sad; not only is it avant garde but it tells a message. I think this is a brilliant idea and really beautifully executed.

Carl Lewis
Carl Lewis has nothing to do with what I am wearing, but I was trying to think of a title and that name popped up.. I googled it and he was a former track star... hmm funny how names stuff themselves in your head for not much of a reason. I don't even care about Carl Lewis ... because he was a sprinter.. hmm..

easy quiche
Made quiche and decided to take pictures...
Block of frozen spinach...
Chop one onion. and fry them so that there is a lot less water.
Put them in a bowl with 5 eggs. add 3 cups of cheese.
Mix it up... and put it in a dish and bake it..

My mama says that this is the only thing I can make that tastes good. I guess it's a step up from macaroni and cheese... and Ramen. Because, I made Tabouli the other day and no one liked it. I thought it tasted good but no on else would eat it. I couldn't finish it, so I had to throw it away :'( it made me sad. I working on making more yummy food... Does anyone have fool-proof recipes??
