Colorblock

I have been stupendously behind on posting up my outfit pictures so this was taken in September but I am posting it in November. I was apparently tremendously tan in September and now I am feeling mighty much whiter.

Clubmaster

In this outfit I master the clubs, dish out the dancing, and I'm fancy freaky fresh. I've got these browline glasses that are slightly difficult to wear because I can only wear them with successful outfits. They are superbly lovely though and I'd live to take them out to the club. I still have to figure out why they are called clubmasters. Oh, and that club going will never happen... I don't club. Oh, it just so happens that Buddy Holly and Malcolm X wore these style glasses. That makes me cool. :P

Moving to the sounds of silence

One of the things I feel is trendy now is movement. There must be a balance between being frumpy and showing off curves. In my outfit, I balanced my incredulously large pants with a simple tight tank top. Another way to manage the balance is with sheer. A light colored loose flowing sheer shows off whatever you are wearing in a contrasting color.
Good luck with your future twirling clothes!

It Pleases Me.

So, just before school started I had a gift card splurge and bought these fantastic shoes at Old Navy. These wedges are my new favorite shoes. They match so well with practically everything in my closet which reminds me to make sure I am mixing things up. They are a perfect height although they would look better with an extra inch in the heel. The downside of Old Navy shoes are breathe ability. To accommodate that fact I learned on Yahoo! I made sure the shoe was a smidge too big so I could wear them with socks.
At the same time I got my shoes, I also bought these rose-tinted sunglasses for about 2 dollars! They are more of a challenge to pull off because of the unusual tint, but if I am feeling a 70's vibe I'll throw them on. Oh, and yea, I do know they don't actually perfectly match this outfit. I just wanted to wear them because they were new!

This is me... please ignore the strange goatee I seem to have.

Captain, whose your grandma?

This is a granny-pirate look. I think I like the combination for it puts a splendid picture in my head... toothless old lady with frizzy hair all over and a hook for her left hand, with her patch over her right eye she is standing on... the Black Pearl!! haha!! enjoy that picture I just put in your head for the rest of the week... :D

Biiike

So, I just read this article on yahoo, which I might add is an especially difficult to get away distraction, that was about things NOT to buy at Old Navy. They said outerwear and shoes because they aren't quality made. The outerwear won't keep you warm and the shoes are non breathable. Well, I didn't know that before I bought these shoes and now I have them and... well I didn't really notice the non-breathability. It was fine to me. I must just be overwhelmed with love for them that I don't notice. The other explanation is that all of my shoes are all so cheaply made that I can't tell the difference between breathable versus non-breathable shoes. Oh well.

Take it and run

In a world so quick I end up moving at too slow a pace and then having to blast away; one extreme to another. Sometimes it's good to step away and look at things in a different perspective to get a good idea of what it really is. This goes for life and it goes for outfits. People are not going to only see your front side. That's what I got from my first art class ever today.

Bitte

I for surely want to go to Germany when I am money rich; particularly Frankfort. If I go to Germany I am going to have to know some German. To begin my learning process, I am watching silly youtube videos about this guy Sam who comes to live in Germany. I don't understand anything except 'was' and 'wie' whic is what and how and the things everyone seems to know like 'hallo' and 'gutendaag.' So, I am learning-ish and it probably won't come in handy for a good 6 years... but I need to get a jump on it while I'm... young?

Harry Potter inspireeddd.

These pictures were taken two days after Harry Potter part 2 came out, thus Harry inspired. I suppose that discounts the chopstick. I am, to mine and all others discontent, not a wizard therefore I have no wand. In any event one needs a wand, a chopstick will do just fine.

Pink Genie Pants

So, my grandma had sent us this really fantastic outfit that no one in their right mind would wear together. It was these pink genie pants and a beaded top that had a long split tail in the back. The top is quite pretty with all the beading but it doesn't quite fit correctly and gives really sad chestage to the wearer. So, my sis sort of challenged me to use the pants in an outfit and here it is! I like it a lot but I definitely got some funny looks. :D
