Happy Halloween

I was a clown for Halloween, and now I feel the pain that the balloon making clowns. They want to make people happy but the dumb movies scared people of clowns... or was it just that they're scary? Well, I don't think I'll be a clown ever again because there were so many people who couldn't look at me because I scared them. Little kids had less of a problem; they just gaped at me.

The Sweaters

Urban Outfitters did a little blog entry with sweaters and I thought that the model, Rachel Stallings, was super cute. Most of the settings were with dead animals and so I selected the ones I liked that didn't have dead animals. The rest of the photographs by Natalie Neal can be found here.

I love the dramatic hair and the simple but also dramatic make up; minimal face makeup and red lips. That's what I did today except it was sort of on accident because I gave myself 20 minutes to shower and get all fancied up. I ended up leaving with red lipstick and wet hair.. :D

enjoi!
The lovely cigarette pants with a belted wrap sweater.

I love the simplicity of these brown trousers with
a knit grey sweater tucked in.

Loose sweater with a pencil skirt.
I like this one a bit better but ...
actually I have no idea why I don't switch it out... lazy.

Again the loose sweater and tight skirt.

State of Dress

Saw these dresses on Yahoo and thought they were so amazing and genius. The artist Robin Barcus Slonina modeled these herself and has spent the last 4 or 5 years just working on these, along with other, dresses made with something that reminds her of the state. Her other dresses can be found throughout her blog here.

Ziggy zaggady

Okay, so my intentions in wearing purple today was because of the abuse stuff, but I believe that no one else in the school participated. At least I was thinking about the then..
Paired this real floofy shirt that makes me feel like a pirate in purple with these super tight jeans that are probably too small.

To the max

I look austere but I am just tired... I didn't get to catch up on my sleep this weekend.

Sleeveless top: gift (kohls). Long Skirt: OldNavy. Pumps: Thrifted. Bag: Thrifted.

PFChangs...

is sooo not good. It was fake tasting and there wasn't much servings for being a large serving. But, I went with my buds and had a blastful time. I need to remember that I don't need to spend money to have a good time. Because THAT was money not well spent...for $10 (we ended up splitting the price) I got a hungry stomach, unsatisfaction, and distaste towards the whole place.

We walked around Downtown looking cute, though. My friend, whose birthday was Saturday, decided we were going out and dressing up for her birthday. This is what I came up with:

Black Velvet Sweetheart Dress: Thrifted. White Givenchy Skirt: 2nd hand. Ribbon/Bow: from another dress.
